We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate. This AHRC funded post is available immediately on a full time basis for eight months in the Department of Drama.

The successful applicant will support the research and administration of our Covid-19 rapid-response project between drama and management studies. The post will include carrying out interviews with artists and local government authorities, managing online surveys, supporting the organisation of a performance festival in Exeter, and managing the day-to-day administration of the project.

You will;
- possess a relevant PhD (or be nearing completion) in a field connected to theatre and performance, ideally with knowledge or experience of site-based practices
- be experienced at organising and conducting qualitative research in the form of interviews
- will have an excellent understanding of research ethics and informed consent processes, and be able to work sensitively and effectively within the pandemic context
- have excellent writing, self-management and inter-personal skills
The role will also involve managing online surveys with artists, local government officers and commissioning bodies in arts and culture.
